NET NEUTRALITY; SAVE INTERNET

Today, internet is the most influential media of the world. Every person is dependent on internet either for his education or his life manners. Even now we can buy everything we want through shopping sites. The internet has invented after the Russian missile Sputnik was launched in 1957. This launching compelled American colonies to start a new network for their military service named ARPANET (advanced research project agency) in 1969. But when it was used for trades, there another new network is born with the name of MILNET in 1983.
Afterwards the ARPANET has another branch as DARPA. The history of internet is going so on…. Then it became like this today we see as inevitable one. The main and big feature of internet is its neutrality, a term that was called by Colombo university media law professor Tim Wu in 2003. The neutrality gives us independence to browse every site in every time.
But now we are going to be banned from this unlimited usage. Mobile network operators like Vodafone, Airtel have approached TRAY to charge for some sites and make to become them as paid sites. The operators argue that they have decreased income and they face loss. It won’t be agreeable.  Because many surveys say that they have got double income for they have hiked data charges as 30-60%. The silence from TRAY reveals us that they are in on the go to make the social sites as paid. So we will have to pay our social sites like Facebook, twitter, Skype and whatSapp.

But, customers are getting ready to protest against this. There is new campaign that has launched against operators and TRAY for their lack of consideration to people who have banned unlimited browsing with the name of #save internet. Let’s come together with this hash tag...
